Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya had a narrow escape on Thursday when the car he was travelling in collided with a cow near a roadside dhaba in Bareilly while he was returning to the airport after official engagements.
According to officials, the incident occurred when a cow suddenly came onto the road in front of the deputy chief minister’s vehicle. The driver immediately applied brakes, preventing a major accident, but the car hit the animal, causing minor damage to the front bumper and a dent to the vehicle. The cow sustained only minor injuries and soon got up and moved away.
